FULL HOUSE

The ‘Ross’ HOUSE is always FULL of musicians who enjoy all venues of music...
- some formed a band consisting of:

Linda Ross –singer/rhythm guitar
Craig Ross – singer/lead guitar/keyboard
Mark Phillips – singer/ bass guitar/rhythm guitar
Wayne Johnson – steel guitar/bass guitar
Rick Smith – drums

Craig & Linda Ross - moved to Port Alberni a few years ago from Calgary
where they had played professionally from the 70’s on performing with various
pop/rock/country groups in Calgary’s top hotels/bars. As well, both performed with
a popular 4 piece dining room group playing the top dine & dance rooms.
Since arriving at Port - both have participated in musical events such as Tall Ships,
Fall Fair, various dances, and as well played at the Bayside Quality Inn in Parksville
and in Duncan with the dine & dance band called “4 of Hearts”. Craig played guitar
from an early age...spanning all types of music from country – rock - jazz and
as well as writing songs & commercials and arranging music. Linda sang and fronted
many bands using percussion instruments and now plays rhythm guitar.

Wayne Johnson – moved here a few years back from the Kootenays where he played
guitar, bass and steel guitar in many bands in that area as well as Courtney & Port.

Mark Phillips – born and raised in Port has participated in the music scene for many
years where he teaches guitar as well as singing and playing bass proficiently.

Rick Smith – born and raised in Port has played drums from a very early age
in various local bands over the years.
