Beatles to Tragically Hip, vintage Hank Williams to Garth Brooks, polkas to Motown, GREAT ESCAPE takes pride in playing many of your favorites. Great Escape is a duo that can achieve that full band wall of sound for dancing, or stay in the background to create a relaxing atmosphere.

     Escape consists of Jeff Moore on lead guitar and vocals, Lori Moore on bass guitar and vocals. The duo uses backing midi sequences (drums and sparse keyboard and horn lines) as well as live audio tracks (occasional harmony vocals and acoustic guitar parts).All run by a laptop using Cubase, music creation program. New material is constantly being added to create an ever growing repertoire, sure to meet the tastes of  music lovers everywhere.

    Jeff has been a musician for most of his life, playing guitar and singing on the western Canada country circuit full time for 2 years. The last 17 years Jeff has performed on Vancouver Island  with many diverse acts as band leader or sideman. Most notably as a founding member of The Cactus Pricks who were West Coast Music Award nominees with airplay on over 350 stations across North America and had 4 music videos on CMT.

     Lori has always had a great passion for music, playing guitar with friends and family most of her life. She has dedicated the last 6 years to singing and playing bass. She has been performing at live venues all across BC, Alberta and Saskatchewan with Great Escape. Lori looks forward to a future of entertaining music lovers all over the globe.
