Pacheena - Toured with Jerry Doucette and became a prominent force in the
Vancouver music scene very quickly. They worked best on a large stage
with their high-energy show. For this reason they preferred schools and college dates. The band originated in Port Alberni in 1974 and was then called the Gooombah Brothers. The name changed a few times once we hit the Prairies and B.C. Interior circuit (Gibraltar, Ram, the Joe Buxton Band) before we settled on Pacheena and hit the Vancouver scene in 1978.
